This is the father's day card that I made for my dad... its not the greatest but I had to whip something up really quick. Thats the way I am, last minute with just about everything! I used some DP paper from a scrappin kit I used at one of the stamping groups. My dad loves boats so I decided to use this set. I have been so busy lately its insane. I have off today and tomorrow from work, thank God! Although, work called me in this morning but I had a ton to do today. Tomorrow is my brother's high school graduation so I have to pick up stuff for that between these two days. Tonight is Kurt's birthday so Cassie and I are going to that around 7:30 and then we are going to Katmandu afterwards to see Split Decision, the best band ever!! I hope you enjoy your day! =]

A Day to Remember
This is another card we made at a past stamp camp that Meredith held, and I think this has to be my all time favorite one that we made! She comes up with the greatest projects ever! So, I am trying to organize my stamping space, but it isnt going too well. I have soooo much crap that I have accumulated over the years that its rediculous. I am trying to gather stuff that I dont want to sell and thinking about bringing it to next weeks stamp camp and let the girls pick what they want since they could probably use it. I have so many stamps its unbelievable!!!! I don't know where they all came from either! Its mostly the $1 stamps from Michael's or Joann's (the woodmounted ones) so I have to make room to fit on my shelf too lol. Well, off to organizing and hopefully when its all done I will take pictures and post them on here! I love everything about that room, especially because its pink and brown!! ahh! Have a fantabulous day! =]

Basket Class
So Friday night, we had a basket class at Meredith's house, where she taught us to make paper-woven baskets. I am in looooooooooove with this project! It turned out so cute! It is very time consuming, but totally worth it in the end! It is actually really simple too, which is even better! All you really have to do is cut off all the horizontal pieces of the basket and use modpodge to glue the DP on the vertical pieces and then use glue dots to weave the rest of it. So so so simple, and endless possibilities! It looks even cuter when the paper is double sided! ahh, I am really in love with this and cannot wait to make more! There are detailed pictures below, click to enlarge! I just stuck to the chocolate color paper to match my new room! Its all pink and brown, so I figured I could use this basket to be some kind of storage and match. Now, I just have to get organized... uh oh! Have a great day, I am off to work! =]

Summer Days
Well, I have still yet to make anything new within the past few days, so I am going to have to bring one out of the archives to show! Tonight though, I am going to one of Meredith's (my SU demo) classes to learn how to make the paper baskets so it should be fun, so I will def post that tomorrow!! Anyways, here is a card I made for my friend Steph last summer when I found out she was pregnant! I saw an idea to use the pregnant woman stamp as the "i" in BIG, so I changed it by using different alphabet and replaced the old Michael's $1 preggo lady stamp with the new one! I used the circles in the SU set Riveting as the dots to match the DP I used in the background. I didnt have any matching brads, suprisingly, so I used ribbon instead, but I think it turned out ok.
I ended up going to the shore yesterday with some friends and it was a lot of fun, it was gorgeous, and the water was actually warm! Very rare in NJ! So, I have another slideshow below with the pics from yesterday at Pt. Pleasant, NJ! Have a great day! =]

Way Too Hot!
So its like 100 degrees here in New Jersey, ugh! It is way too hot to do anything. I just got home from work and atleast it has AC! Although I was freezing for most of the day, I am glad I was in it. At my house we only have air downstairs, since its a 300+ year old house! So, looks like I will be sleeping downstairs again tonight, oh yay....
Anyways since its too hot to stamp in my room, I will be sharing another project I made from a little while ago! It was a birthday present for my friend Vickie! Its a monogram "V" that is altered, along with a recipe tin and a picture frame! I loooooove altering things its so much fun! So I stuck with the same colors I got out of a Provocraft stack of papers and went from there. I also love the big making memories flowers with matching brads. She loved it and now I still have to make more recipe cards for her out of the Stampin' Up set Whats for Dinner. Below is smaller images of each altered item, click to enlarge! =]

Snappy Birthday!
This is a card I made a while ago, but I absolutely love it! I love the whole stamp set in general, but the little crabby is of course the best! I love watercoloring him, especially making the little blue claws! I made this for a friend for his birthday, and I tried not to make it too cutesy, but I thought it is just a cute card for anyone. So, today is my brother's prom, which he is at right now! I will post pictures probably tomorrow once I get them uploaded. Last night was another great night out! I went to KatManDu again, which is our usual Thursday night spot, and saw a new band play. Usually its Split Decision, but this week it was Big Bang. They weren't as good, but still fun! I went there with Cassie and met Devon, Mike, Ashley and Andrew there. They left early and Cassie and I ended up meeting 2 great guys. They were from Pennsylvania and super nice, so we might meet them there next Thursday too! Below is a slideshow from last night! =]

Baby Onesie
Well, here is the infamous baby "onesie" card! I just love to make these things, they are too adorable! I saw it around on Splitcoast, but when I saw my demo's blog, she had made one so I decided to give in and try it out too! It is really simple to make, and I just love the little scalloped punch being the lace trim around it! I ended up making this for my friends Steph and Donny who just welcomed their first little child into the world! They live in North Carolina so I dont see them often. I miss them very much! Anyways, today I have to go with my brother's girlfriend to get extensions in her hair for prom tomorrow! I can't believe my brother is going to graduate soon! Its scary! But, I am 2 out of 2 for posting! Yay! I think I can keep up with the posting!
